Owen’s Roofing Inc is a highly successful commercial roofing and sheet metal company operating out of Smithfield, North Carolina. Owens Roofing Inc is seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our growing Production Team.
As Project Manager, you will have the freedom to manage your projects as necessary to meet financial goals.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your leadership talent. This position will require travel, as you will manage projects throughout North Carolina. You will be based in Smithfield, North Carolina yet have a strong support team at our corporate office to ensure you have the resources needed to be successful.
- Must have previous roofing experience managing crews, Repair and maintenance on all roof systems, including Experience in commercial roofing in Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and related materials.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks daily through completion with strong attention to detail, assign duties to others and maintain professional interaction with all customers
- Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, TPO, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems as well as metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them
- Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues
- Complete submittal documents through all review and approval phases with designers, engineers and architects.
- Order materials as needed to facilitate efficient job progression
- Maintain current material inventory levels on job sites. Order additional material as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to lead and motivate team members
- Proven success at managing multiple projects and budgets in an efficient manner
- A good driving record is necessary for this position
- Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Travel required
- Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Ability to speak Spanish is helpful
